Vanderbilt Ave that is from Atlantic Ave to Grand Army Plaza.
An confortable shopping area for locals living in Prospect Heights.
Prospect Heights, a peaceful residential area following Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Museum.
The Prospect Hights area, where I heard that it was hard to say that it was calm until a few years ago. Large condominiums have been built one after another in the last four or five years, and construction is still underway. Adjacent to Prospect Park that is like Brooklyn's Central Park, follow the main street, Vanderbilt Ave, to Grand Army Plaza. Then immediately in front of you is Prospect Park and Brooklyn's Central Library, and behind it is a museum and a botanic garden.
Brooklyn has a image of a fashionable city, but the further you go to the hinterland, there are hints of daily lifereal Brooklyn, and these are just mixed around here.
With the construction of larger condominiums going forward and the coexistence of good old Brownstone townhouses and sophisticated new condominiums. That might be a vision of Brooklyn in the future.
